High Protein French ‘No Toast’….

I came up with this recipe when one morning my boyfriend, who is also a body builder, was complaining about being tired of egg whites for breakfast… (really?, a body builder, tired of egg whites?, unheard of…hahaha).  I thought French Toast sounded like a tasty way for him to still get his eggs and since he does eat Dave’s High Protein Bread it worked perfectly for him.  I devised this very tasty recipe for him and left out the bread for myself and it simply became vanilla, cinnamon scrambled eggs! :-)  Sorry, NO bread or maple syrup allowed for low carb eaters! ;-)

1 whole organic egg                               Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until

1 c. pasteurized egg whites                   protein powder is blended; pour into 14″ frying

1 T. vanilla protein powder                  pan and scramble.

1 T. organic 2% milk                              Total time to mix:  2 to 3 minutes

1/4 t. cinnamon                                      Total cooking time:  5 to 7 minutes

1/8 t. organic vanilla extract

I have used the Herbalife Vanilla Protein in this recipe as well as the Isopure Zero Carb Vanilla…the flavour is better with the Herbalife. Since I’m on a shredding diet right now, my preferred protein is Jay Rob; 110 Cals, 1 Carb, 24 Protein, 0 Fat and Stevia as sweetener, or Probolic Vanilla; 130 Cals, 4 Carbs, 20 Protein, 3 Fat and Sucralose as a sweetener (not my preferred sweetener).
