The Human Race or The Race of Humanity……

Strength. What do you think of when you define this word? One thing I believe we would agree on is that it is a positive word. Strength of character, strength of will, unlimited strength, tenacious strength, strength in discipline, strength to persevere, mental strength, etc. All of these conjure up positive connotations in our minds, they are good things, things we all would hope to obtain more of throughout our lives.
I ride, as I ride I think, or meditate and my mind leaves all burdens behind and so becomes alive with thoughts and visions and revelations of humanity, my humanity and my/our connection….. I LOVE to ride and I ride to love!
This morning while riding I stopped at the pier to watch the surfers, boogie boarders and paddle boarders….. I watched the young guys and the old guys(Old Guys Rule…LOL), the women, and all races of people, all ages, all enjoying playing in the power of the ocean and all encouraging each other, high fiving each other when they’d pull off a good trick, or just chatting as they were floating, waiting for the right wave. They all had a strength of connection with other humans, there, in the water, clearly all loving being alive at that moment. There was no segregation of gender, race, age, sexual orientation, colour, or country, just pure connection to each other and their surroundings…this is humanity at it’s best, this is where we find our strength in life, this is where we realize our purpose as a race on this planet we call earth.
One day (maybe it’s already come), we will connect with other living beings in the Universe and as humans, we need to be just that, the human race, strong of character, strongly connected to one another, encouraging, lifting, building, loving each other so that as a race of humans, we can embrace others, in our Universe, with the strength of love and acceptance.
When you feel alone or weak or that you lack the strength to accomplish some task in life, ask yourself, “Am I connected?”, and if no, then, “What do I need to do to be connected”? We find our strength in connection with other humans, so let’s do this people, let’s connect, more and more and build a matrix and bring about Universal strength and change.
Happy Sunday to all!!!

Beautifully written. When I used to ride my Harley it was the same feeling. A mini vacation from My mind of worries! As if all troubles cease to exist in that moment. And your experience on the beach… How wonderful it is to see everyone enjoying and ceasing the moment!!! The world is definitely a better place to be when we are all connected! Thank you for the post! :-)
